Information
The Old Town House is part of the Iziko Museums of South Africa. The museum building houses the Michaelis Collection, which was donated by Sir Max Michaelis in 1914. This renowned collection of Netherlandish seventeenth-century art includes works by Frans Hals, Jan Steen, Jacob van Ruisdael, Anthony van Dyck and numerous others.
